Maybe it is advertised well but I cannot locate anything on this cook. Anyone have reccomendations and info on this event?

This is a fun event. It is open to the public to come out and taste the different teams BBQ pork. It has rained the previous couple of years, but hey...its SC weather...wait 10 minutes and it will change. It is limited to 20 teams, with good pay outs...$1250 first, $600 2nd, $300 third. Bad news...JT is coming to defend the three years in a row title. But who knows, this could be the year to take the champ down..lol.

Your probably right I will be there with a whole new setup, new cooker, and back to basics. I had to consolidate with all this traveling!! Looking forward to a fun event!!!

Good News and Bad News. Bad News is that Three Rivers BBQ is having to back out of the Saluda Shoals event. Good news is the reason...my wife and I are attending a foster/adoption class that day. We are hopefully adding a new member to our team by the end of April/first of May. May still come by Friday night to visit and say hello to the teams.

Congrats on the adoption classes!!!! The wife and I did that a last year and we have had several foster kids come through. Most rewarding thing we have ever done. God Bless you for doing that.
