| Has anyone out there had any experience with Meadow Creek Cookers? They make a pig roaster (PR models) and also BBQ models. If you have experience with them or have seen them in competition, please respond. Thanks! |

| They make a very nice cooker. There are a couple of fellas over on Barbecue Central that have them. I've also seen a post or two on the BBQ Forum.
Good Q!

| Thanks Jack. I am having a hard time making a decision on a cooker. I guess that i am trying to get everything in one. I was looking at a CD108 which is a trailer unit with a 60"Pig roaster and and a 42 inch grill on the back of the trailer. I am totally confused on what to do now. |

| Cookers are like fishing poles & coolers You need a different one for every situation & you can never have too many |

 | Subject: What Smoker to BUY ? Wed Aug 11, 2010 7:05 am | |
| I've had 4 different ones since starting in 2006. First 2 were a reverse flow model made by cookersandgrills. They were ok. They were just not the unit for a full service restaurant, (NO SLEEP) 3rd unit was an Ole Hickory EL/EDX. Was a great pit and easy to operate, set it and forget it. Great food with a NO SWEAT effort. Current smoker is a Lang 84 Original. This smoker is the original Reverse Flow Smoker. Quailty construction, very easy to operate and tow down the road. So far the product coming of the Lang is equal to that of the Ole Hickory with $16,000.00 less spent. Only problem so far is lack of sleep when cooking butts. All said I'd buy another Lang in a minute. Prices start at under a $1000.00 or you can spend up to $ 10,000.00 all depends on your needs. Hope this helps. Good Luck ! |
