Spring Valley Ace Hardware (in Columbia) has two damaged WSMs at discounted prices. I have looked at both of them and it appears to be cosmetic damage to the enamel paint only. Otherwise, they appear to be in good shape. Both have cosmetic damage on the lids and one has cosmetic damage on the bowl. He is asking $175 for the one with lid damage only and $125 for the one with the lid and bowl damage. I feel sure he would be willing to negotiate. If interested, let me know.

Garland, Bubba Culbertson,a good friend of mine, is interested in talking with you about the WSM. His e-mail is gfculbertson@embarqmail.com and his telephone is 864-229-4227. Are you coming to Greenwood this w/e?

    Garland,
The number above says no longer in service. Bubba would like to have either one of the smokers. If you can, would you pick him one up and bring it to Greenwood? He said to use your judgement on the price and choice of which one. Of course this assumes they are still there. If you can't pick it up, no problem. But if you can, it will be greatly appreciated.

My bad...it should have been 803 area code. I will go by tonight and see if they are still there and give Bubba a call. There is a two beer delivery charge. Very Happy

    The $175 unit is sold.

After closer inspection and questioning the owner, the $125 unit was bent up pretty good. It was hit by a forklift during unloading. It appears they did a real good job of getting it back in shape. However, I question how airtight the unit will be when fired up. The enamel paint took a good beating too. I advised him to part it out. He said he was going to let it sit there a couple weeks before doing that. Will be keeping my eye on it.
